I thought I'd dust off the old blogging hat and make a quick post about the French I've recently started painting again:
So, here they are: Not finished, not by a long shot. Grenadiers and 1st Coy are probably half strength at the moment and I'm currently working on swelling the ranks of the 2nd Coy.
More as I get there, hopefully the next post will be before 2013. :p

Progress
I have been working hard this past few weeks (developing eye strain in the process <it was worth it>) so, without further ado, here are the fruits of my labour.
32nd Foot No 1 Coy.
28th Foot No 1 Coy.
79th Foot No 1 Coy.
8th Brigade wide view.
French Column 55th Regt. (Ignore the Samurai in the background)

Camerons
I have finished the first coy of the 28th Foot and had planned to post their progress here, but when I came to check my camera, none of the shots had taken properly, there were however a few salvageable shots of the 79th that I've started on.
The small pipe section, which will swell to a ear splitting two pipers (maybe three) when the coy is finished.

Finally got painting again
Sorry for the absence, however I have not been remiss in painting, despite lack of updates.
I have also, for a break, started on the first coy of the 28th Foot, which I will take some pictures of soon.

Almost Forgot
The sea of red was becoming a touch monotonous, so to break it up, I decided to paint up a few French Dragoons.
These are from the 20th Dragoons.

In my new home
Finally. I've also been busy working away, as a distraction from unpacking. This is not a great shot, but it shows the progress.
The first Coy of the 95th Rifles is done and I'm slowly starting to assemle and klear the 32nd Foot.
So, without further ado...
